The Campfire Lamp

A composite view of the Campfire Lamp from different angles

The base of this lamp (as well as the three upper arm branches that support the shades) are reminiscent of the crossed sticks that are stacked to form a campfire.  The lamp was inspired by and constructed during a summer sojourn in Belgrade, Montana. The base and body are powder-coated in a textured red, while the steel that outlines the shades is powder-coated in a glossy orange.

Closeup of the Campfire Lamp with geometric flame lampshades, covered in flame colored batik fabric

The three flame-like shades are formed by strict geometric angles. The lampshades are cotton batik with a range of color gradients that blend various shades of red, pink, orange, brick and ochre giving a flame-like appearance.
