This small tabletop gem is reminiscent of an era when machines and industrial equipment still bore the ornamental aspects of design. This was during a time when objects designed for utilitarian purposes still had aspects of finesse and charm. The lamp has the stylized characteristics of a furnace having tiered smokestacks with cathedral-like arches.
Constructed of steel, with an oil-rubbed bronze finish, the interior of this table-top gem is covered in reflective copper leaf. The glowing interior creates the impression of a furnace churning with interior flame. The fiery haze of heat is depicted using bronze wool airbrushed with reds and yellows. Tufts of bronze-wool flame sit atop each of the three chimneys.
